Here are some further tips for choosing your garden trampoline;

• Main purpose - mucking about (round trampolines) or serious bouncing
• Size - use a garden hose to form a circle on your lawn to see which size will fit best in the available space (12' is the most popular but buy the largest you can-you'll love a 14 foot trampoline if you can fit it in)
• Users - trampolines are great for any age, (if you can stand, you can bounce!)
• Safety - fit a safety net (bounce arena) or add a 2m safe area around the trampoline
• Springs - the quality of the springs is far more important than the quantity or length (contrary to what some manufacturers say!)
• Durability - with trampolines, as with most purchases, you get what you pay for
• Quality - one basic measure is the shipping weight; more weight = more steel, thicker bed & padding etc
